MENTAL SKILLS

Mental skills, or cognitive behavioral strategies, are essential tools for understanding how our thoughts shape our actions. Research from psychologists has consistently demonstrated that these skills can positively impact behavior, leading to improved performance both in sports and in life.

As coaches and parents, it is crucial to equip children with these strategies, as they provide essential resources for navigating the challenges they will inevitably face. By integrating these mental skills into training sessions and everyday discussions, we empower young athletes to internalize and apply them more readily in various situations.
